Its very entertaining too, as you can watch the chefs roll the sushi . Get there right when it opens so you get a train spot or else its a long wait! ”

“ Neat experience and a fun little lunch. We stopped in after being in the area for the day, finally giving them a try, and we enjoyed ourselves. All of the prepared sushi and small starter dishes that were placed on the train were delicious, and it was enjoyable being able to grab at will instead of waiting for a traditionally prepared rolls. We only chose to try the sushi train and didnt select anything off their other menu, but we plan on trying other things when we go back! ”
“ Still to this day one of the best sushi bars around the KC area. Ive probably been going for over 20 years now. I love the sushi train setup where you grab whatever you want off of it. They charge you for each plate at the end. Its a fun way to try new rolls without spending a ton on a whole roll. The crab stick, sex in the city roll, and calamari are probably my faves from here. Would highly recommend for a fun date night or special occasion as well. ”

“ Introducing one of my favorite places to get sushi in the greater Kansas City area Sakura Sushi Train! Sakura has a sushi train that loops around the bar and is holding mini plates with sushi and appetizers. Having a hard time picking which sushi roll sounds the best? At Sakura, you can pick and choose which plates you want to enjoy. I also snag some dumplings, a ginger salad, and crab rangoons to start my meal off with. I usually grab 46 mini plates with 23 sushi pieces on them. There are three colored plates with different prices depending on what is being served on the plate. This spot may not look like much from the front, but you will leave fully and happy! If you are looking for a unique dining experience in the greater Kansas City area, Sakura is the place to visit! ”
“ Sakuras has been my favorite sushi restraunt in KC and surrounding metros for more that 15 years! Their flavor is spot on, their Unagi is super delicate and flavorful! The things I really enjoy is the sushi train! You get small portions of 23 pieces per plate, which means you get to try more types of sushi as opposed to traditions rolls like most sushi places have! Dont worry they do have rolls you can order like other sushi places that lack the train! So that also means this is the perfect place for first time sushi goes to try, because you dont risk not liking an entire roll! ”
